About Upshift Public Speaking, Inc.
OUR MISSION
The Mental Health Conversation Is Too Important Not to Have
Upshift Public Speaking, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Our mission is simple: destigmatize mental health by bringing honest, impactful presentations directly to the audiences who need them most.
We serve high schools, universities, workplaces, and community organizations. And because we know that budget constraints should never be a barrier to this message, we maintain a donor-funded grant program to help cover the cost of presentations.
What We Cover
Each Upshift Public Speaking presentation is a full-length, immersive experience designed for audiences 12 and older. Chad Dunlap covers the mental health topics that don't always get addressed in classrooms or staff meetings but affect nearly everyone.

​Meet Chad Dunlap
Chad Dunlap is the founder of Upshift Public Speaking, Inc. and the voice behind every presentation. He speaks from personal experience, which is exactly what makes his message land differently than a standard training or awareness seminar.
Chad's background spans both personal struggle and professional commitment to mental health advocacy. His presentations are built around authenticity, not scripts. Audiences consistently describe his talks as the first time they felt someone was speaking directly to what they were going through.
